Implementing Regulations for the Protection of Biodiversity

The project aims to protect, preserve and develop biodiversity and natural habitats within the limits of geographical boundries by establishing the following controls and procedures: 1. Preserving areas rich in biodiversity that lie outside the boundaries of protected areas, and developing a mechanism for identifying and classifying them. 2. Enabling urban development activities within the geographical boundaries while ensuring the protection of ecosystems and biodiversity by applying principles, mechanisms and programs to increase biodiversity and offset its losses to mitigate the impact on biodiversity. 3. Classification of protected areas and areas that are preserved outside protected areas according to the approved classifications.
