Technology Policy

Scope: This policy covers all aspects related to all technologies supporting the Digital Government activities including the Government Digital Services and internal operations. Objectives: The technology policy aims to support government agencies in achieving: - Develop innovative and flexible solutions to provide Government Digital Services that aligns with digital transformation strategic directions and satisfies beneficiaries' expectations and needs. - Provide Government entities with the needed support to take technology investment decisions that ease providing the Government Digital Services, raise its quality and decrease the incurred cost. - Promote data governance to support data-driven decision making practices to achieve expenditure efficiency and consider data as a national asset. - Ensure business continuity and digital government systems' availability.
