The Human Rights Commission is celebrating International Human Rights Day by launching a hackathon titled “HaqThon”, as an innovative way to enhance collaboration with members of the community and to leverage creativity and innovation in promoting human rights culture. It is a competition for the best innovative idea in the field of promoting human rights culture.

General Objective
To develop an innovative social and technological environment for spreading and strengthening human rights culture, by engaging various sectors and stakeholders in an open dialogue and leveraging the creative potential of digital technologies to generate innovative ideas and solutions that support the promotion of human rights culture.
