Overview:

This initiative aims to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Kingdom's regions by enabling Monshaat's participation in the Asir Innovates 2025 Hackathon. This will contribute to the exchange of expertise with enabling entities and the development of programs more tailored to the needs of local sectors. It will also highlight Monshaat's role as a national enabler of innovation and promote partnerships and sustainability.

Objectives:

• Empowering innovators and entrepreneurs to develop viable solutions to address the challenges facing the Asir region.

• Strengthening Monshaat's role as a government enabler that supports innovation in the regions.

• Providing specialized mentoring and evaluation sessions to enhance the quality of participating ideas and projects.

• Fostering partnerships with supporting entities and opening opportunities for expansion into similar competitions.

• Supporting innovative projects for incubation or development through Monshaat's programs and services.

Expected Outcomes:

• Improving the quality of participating projects and technological solutions through mentoring and evaluation.

• Gaining a clear understanding of innovators' needs, which will support the design of more relevant programs. • Linking outstanding projects to post-competition programs such as incubation, academy programs, and incubators.
